For the past few months I’ve been dedicated to learning how to make money online. There seems to be a lot of “work from home jobs” out there, and I just want a little piece; so that I can live a free lifestyle. Have you been looking for online jobs too?
Recently, I discovered that I can find certain items on Amazon, list said items on eBay at a higher price. Thus making a small profit when that item sells. Listing them on Amazon and sourcing them from eBay for a profit has also proven itself as a concept, time and time again.
Sometimes, I even sell things on eBay and source them from eBay. That wasn’t a typo. I source and buy on eBay. Crazy right? Why would they buy from me if it’s cheaper in the same market place? Well, from what I understand, by increasing the number of pictures and adding keywords to the title of your listing, eBay ranks your listing higher. Another reason is “eBay’s Global shipping program”. (GSP) As of 2013, eBay began offering a solution to eBay sellers, giving them the opportunity to Ship their international packages to eBay’s warehouse in Kentucky, USA. eBay then takes care of the international shipping from there. They offer this service free to sellers. They charge the buyer in a separate transaction. Many sellers still don’t know about this service. Therefore, they are invisible to international buyers. A large percentage of my sales are international.
Using this technique, I made my first sale and profit on December 31st, 2014. I’ve been keeping record of every transaction made since. Check out my stats below.
As you can see, I’ve made over $1,400 in profit in just a little over 2 months. If you notice, my sales drastically increased in the last 2 to 3 weeks. What did I start doing differently in the last few weeks? Well, besides increasing the amount of listing I posted everyday; I started following certain “PowerSellers” on ebay. Many of these “PowerSellers” source their stuff from china. Selling them at a really low price. You can spot these “Powersellers” by noticing that they sell hundreds or thousands of the same item. All I do is copy the title of these items and paste them on both eBay’s and Amazon’s search bar. Look for a big price difference. subtract 21% from your sale price to figure all fees and taxes. You can also use the Amazon seller app, where you can punch in the numbers, and it’ll tell you your exact profit.
When I started doing this, my goal was to make $100 per week in profit. After the results I’ve had, my new and very realistic goal is $2,500 in the month of March. I’ll keep you posted.
I think this is an amazing way to make extra income. The best thing is you can do this from anywhere in the world with a wifi signal. Does anybody out there sell things on ebay? Are you making money? Do you want to learn this money-making techniques? Post your comments below…
