“Man sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he’s so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he’s never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived.” – The Dalai Lama.
Having that thought in mind, we’re going to talk about what it means to invest in ourselves. In America, we tend to work hard throughout the year, putting in 40 hours plus Commute time; then we reward ourselves with cars, jewelry and “well deserved” vacations.
Do you clock in and out of a job you hate? Do you look forward to Fridays and dread the thought of Mondays? Do you feel stuck; like you got tricked into living a life of mediocrity? Well, you did get tricked. We all did. We were raised with an industrial way of thinking… Go to school, learn a trade, work for 50 years for the same company; then retire with just enough time to enjoy your grandkids for a few years before it’s all over.
That might have worked well in the 1930’s, but we’re living in a very special time in our human existence. A time where we’re able to connect in a way like never before. Lets take advantage of this extraordinary technology. Lets use it to better ourselves and those around us.
The reason we are more likely to use our hard earned money to go on vacation, rather than invest in starting a small business; is because we lack trust in ourselves. The reason we don’t trust ourselves is because we don’t really know ourselves well enough to risk actual money. We rather spend a week in Hawaii for the third consecutive summer. It’s way easier than learning how to operate a business. But the satisfaction that comes with bringing your ideas to life is incomparable.
If you manage to take the time to get to know yourself in an intimate level, you will be able to conquer your fears and excel in life like never before. Crossing boundaries within, like you never thought possible. You want to help humanity? Start by helping yourself. Help yourself become the person you were meant to be. A person with the money to help those in need. And the time to recognize who needs help the most. A person who lives their life in the moment and relishes in it.
Are you ready to invest in yourself? Below, is a screenshot of my sales spreadsheet for the month of April. This is proof of what is possible when you trust yourself well enough to invest in yourself.
Over $25,000 in total sales. Nearly $6,000 in profit, with almost 25% margins. Averaging over $195 per day, 7 days a week. That’s taking into account all refunds and the week that went bye without a single sale; do to having to put my account on vacation mode because of lack of credit. All without touching or stocking any inventory. There’s also little risk involved, because eBay protects us, the buyer. It’s the perfect system for wealth distribution.
See the Amazon sales report below for the month of April.
I’ve been getting an overwhelming amount of positive feedback. You’re actually listening to me and taking action. I’m humbled beyond words. I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to help so many people overcome one of our biggest challenges in life.
